Camp Hill native climbs Seven Summits while giving back | On the Bright Side
Julie McKelvey, a dedicated Miracle‑Ear franchisee from Pennsylvania, has turned her passion for mountaineering into a powerful fundraising mission called Summit for Sound — climbing some of the world’s highest peaks, including Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and Denali, to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Miracle‑Ear Foundation’s Gift of Sound program so underserved adults and children can receive hearing aids; her efforts have not only generated significant donations but have raised awareness about hearing health and inspired colleagues and supporters, as she continues toward the seven summits with the goal of helping more people rediscover the sound of life.
